Check out the demo our crew completed at this Baldwinsville, NY home that needed water mitigation! The water soaked into the materials for some time before we arrived on-site to start mitigation. Therefore, we had to cut the walls half way up to eliminate any possible mold that may have started to grow. Our crew did a great job and kept it neat.

Secondary Damage

In this picture, you can see condensation on the windows. This home recently sustained water damage from a flooded basement. The water damage was not immediately addressed and condensation built up on the windows. The condensation dripped down to the window sill and caused mold to grow. Other areas of the home were also affected by mold due to secondary damage.

Mold

This Syracuse, NY home was affected by mold due to high humidity in the basement. The basement is a damp area of the home that needs constant dehumidification in order to stop mold growth. Our crew performed mold remediation in order to remove the existing mold from the home.

Moldy contents

This picture shows how water can crawl up materials. If left unattended for a long period of time, mold growth will occur. This box sat in a water damaged basement and grew mold on the box and the interior contents. Our crew cleaned the salvageable contents and placed the items in a new box. Once the basement was completely dry, we moved the contents back into the basement.

Flooded Basement

This picture shows how quickly a basement can fill with water. This basement had about 6 inches of standing water when we arrived on-site. A pipe burst over night and ran throughout the night. Our crew showed up on-site to begin extracting water and dry out the basement.

Kitchen Subfloor

The water from this mitigation job came from the kitchen above the basement. The kitchen flooring and basement ceiling were affected. We removed the ceiling in the basement so that the subflooring of the kitchen could be dried in place.

Ceiling Damage

Water can come from any area of a building. This water damage came from a leaky roof. The water damaged the ceiling of this commercial building. This type of water damage can be hazardous because the water passed through the electric in overhead lights. Luckily, it did not damage the electricity. 

Leaky Sink

This commercial building had a leak underneath one of their sinks. The pipe had been leaking for sometime before it was noticed. The bottom of the cabinet absorbed the leaking water. 

Water Intrusion

This door was damaged when the basement flooded with water. The room had about 1.5 inches of standing water. As you can see, the water started to crawl up the door. We extracted the water and dried out the affected area.

Apartment Fire

Multiple apartments were affected when a fire broke out in this apartment. Smoke and soot damage spread throughout the apartment complex. Most of the affected rooms were able to be cleaned and deodorized. This room needed demolition and rebuild.

Mold

A slow leak from the refrigerator caused this mold. The customer did not know that the refrigerator had been leaking for quite some time until the mold grew beyond the area of the refrigerator. Our technicians came in and performed remediation to remove the mold for the customer.

This beautiful inn had water come through their roof which affected many of the rooms. The customer needed the water quickly mitigated so that their customers were not affected. They didn't want to have to cancel reservations which had been long made because their rooms were not guest ready. We arrived on-site to dry the affected area.

Basement Water Damage

This Cicero, NY home was affected by water damage when our area received a large amount of rain in a short period of time. The homeowners were in the process of finishing the basement when the storm hit and their sump pump was not able to keep up.

Mold

It is very important to address a water damage as soon as it happens. By letting a water damage sit, mold growth can quickly take over and cause more extensive damage. The contents this customer had stored in their basement became moldy when they did not notice they had a water damage for a few days.

Extinguisher Dust

This Canastota, NY home was affected by fire over the Christmas holiday when a candle from a table center piece arrangement tipped over and fire and smoke spread throughout the home. This fire was put out with a fire extinguisher. As you can see, there is fire extinguisher dust covering the furniture.

Cabinet Dry Out

The plumbing in this cabinet leaked and caused water damage to the kitchen and surrounding rooms. The cabinet became saturated with water since it was directly affected by the water. We placed an air mover in the area to dry cabinets.

Flood Damage

After having flood damage from heavy rains, this Baldwinsville, NY home needed mitigation! Our crew cut the walls, removed the wet insulation so that the studs could be dried properly without having secondary damage.

Tree Fell On House

This Syracuse, NY home had a tree fall on their home during a severe storm that came through the area. The tree came through the roof in multiple areas into the home. Not only did the tree cause roof damage, but it was also raining during this time. Therefore, the home was affected by water damage that leaked from the attic space to the first and second floor. Our crew quickly arrived on-site. We tarped the damaged parts of the roof so that no more water could get into the home. Then we started mitigation to the affected areas throughout the home.

This Minoa, NY home was affected by water damage when the customer's roof leaked. The water ran down the window and drywall onto the flooring. We removed the carpeted floor and dried the subfloor.

Commercial Water

This was a commercial water loss in Liverpool, NY that our crew provided mitigation for. We arrived on-site very early in the morning to begin extracting water, cleaning the flooring and placing air movers and dehumidifiers to dry the affected materials.

Storm Damage

This Cicero, NY home flooded when the area received a large amount of rain in a short time. The sump pump got overwhelmed and could not keep up with the amount of water that was coming in. As you can see, water started crawling up the wooden stairs. Contents were affected by the water. Our crew arrived on site to extract the standing water, clean and dry and affected contents and put them in plastic containers so they wouldn't be affected by water should this happen again. We dried all affected structural materials and cleaned the flooring. Our crew worked quickly to stop any secondary damage.

Stabilization

This picture is of a commercial building that SERVPRO of North and East Onondaga and Oswego Counties provided dehumidification for. The owners of the building were putting a plan together to remediate mold damage and stop water from getting into the building.

Hidden Mold

One of our customers in Syracuse, NY found mold in their home when part of their wall fell down. The customer called us worried because his bathroom wall began to fall down unexpectedly. There had been no prior visible signs that there was a leaky pipe or water damage. So when his wall fell he needed us to come check out the damage as soon as possible. Our crew quickly arrived on-site and found mold behind the walls caused by a pipe that had been slowly leaking for some time. We remediated the mold and made it "Like it never even happened."

In October, our area received heavy rains that caused water damage in a local church. The Pastor contacted us and we immediately sent a crew to assess the damage and get to work to mitigate the water. The church was very happy with our quick response so they could have as little interruption as possible for their congregation.
